The A-CREATE Method promotes the development of essential and lasting skills for problem-solving, critical thinking, learning, and teaching, both in academic contexts and in informal learning environments, strategically integrating the use of artificial intelligence.
A-CREATE is a process of information literacy, research, and inquiry, as it describes how we approach tasks, make decisions, and solve problems in any context, using AI as a cognitive ally and not as a substitute for human thought.

Our History

Dr. Noraida Domínguez Flores is a Professor at the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus. She teaches courses in the Graduate Program in Information Science (MIS), accredited by the American Library Association. In 2025, she founded her company, NDF Consulting Group LLC, to expand her work related to professional development and the integration of new technologies into academic and administrative processes in diverse environments. Since then, she has focused on integrating Artificial Intelligence into teaching processes and training other educators on how to use it effectively. Noraida is the co-author of the book Transforma tu clase con ChatGPT: Domina el Modelo ACREAR para Prompts Efectivos, where she first presented this model for the use of AI. With this initial experience and the implementation of AI in her courses, she and Yesenia developed the A-CREATE Method for problem-solving. A-CREATE responds to a reality where information is actively generated, transformed and evaluated with AI, placing the student, the educator and the information professional as active, ethical and reflective agents of the process.
